Afleet Alex Pups Rock

The 2007 All-American Afleet Alex was a terror on the racetrack and now that he has retired to stud, he might just be sending a few more terrors everyone's way.

Although he has just had a couple of litters hit the ground, the ones we have seen so far here at the Orange Park Kennel Club have hit the ground running.

Afleet Red and Really Gonnarock blazed the way, but another litter by Gary Willis has also shown some promise as they tore up the racetrack in schooling the other night, along with Really Xtreme who is the brother to Afleet Red.

On Monday July 5th, Afleet Alex pups won 4 races in a row in schooling, including the fastest trip of all the schoolers in 31.36 seconds. What might have been more impressive was that they were not just winning, they were blowing fields away.

In race 2 Really Xtreme won his race from behind by a half a length over Gs Storey who just happens to be the littermate to the following greyhounds and another Afleet Alex pup in her own right.

The first of three littermates from the Willis Kennel, GS Millie demolished the 3rd race by 10.5 lengths, followed by GS Tee Up in the 4th race by 7 lengths, and maybe the best of the bunch, GS Quasimoto in the 5th race by 9.5 lengths in 31.36 seconds.

These greyhounds look like they can really run, so all you breeders out there better pay attention as it looks like Afleet Alex might just have something special to add into the mix.

Congratulation to the Willis Kennel for the nice litter, and for the MAN Lester Raines for his litter of promising puppies.

From everyone here from Greyhounds As Pets we hope that Afleet Red makes a mint and once again we would like to thank Lester Raines, Deborah Strickland, and Mike Gerard for all of their efforts in making the Afleet Red Raffle a success.

Come on Alex keep throwing those winners, and here's to continued success to our very own All-American as he passes along his dominate talents.
