Streaking at the Orange Park Kennel Club

No greyhound is hotter at the Orange Park Kennel Club than Eds Budby. Budby is on a personal mission right now not to lose. Taking over in a long line of distance superstars, Eds Budby is showing the dominance that All-Americans Penny Candy and Burt Road did in their days. Untouchable is the only way to describe his recent efforts.
This 2010 Orange Park Derby Winner, and runner up in the James J Patton Silver Cup, has not slowed down at all as the year has rolled on. He just keeps picking them up and putting them down and has turned those unyielding efforts into wins.
Currently riding high on a seven race win streak, Budby is getting it done no matter the circumstances. From the front, he is tremendous, but from behind he might be even better. You see Budby never gives up in any race and just keeps on coming no matter what happens to him. This determination is the reason for his success.

The 2010 campaign has been a great trip for this fantastic athlete. He has raced in 64 races, has won 34 times, and finished in the money on 55 occasions. If you look at his 660 yard starts alone, the numbers are even more impressive as he has won nearly 60 percent of his efforts. During the stakes rounds he has shined too with 12 starts, 5 wins, 4 places, 1 show, and 1 fourth place effort, or 11 for 12 in the money.

Congratulations to Owner and Trainer Mike Crowe for this superb greyhound and his fantastic year so far at the Orange Park Kennel Club. As he keeps on racking up the wins and keeps showcasing his talents, he has to be considered one of the best duel distance greyhounds in the country.
